I finally figured out how to control a double socket using the SparkCore Relay Shield. The socket has 3 poles so I cut a power cord from a PC and hooked the white through the relay, the black to the hot connector on the socket and the green line to the green bolt on the socket. I may switch which one goes through the relay, but either one will work. I think having the hot line cutoff by the relay so that the socket doesn’t have the hot line active when its off, but its not a necessity.
The SparkCore in the picture is connected to that small battery, but eventually it needs to be attached to a power adapter (so it doesn’t need to run on battery).
